So when Rey and Jack asked me to photograph their wedding in London, right on my doorstep, I couldn’t have been more excited.
Their wedding took place on a mild, autumn day with the occasional break through of sunlight. This stylish, creative pair were so much fun to be around. When I first met them both, and with Jack being a graphic designer, I knew a lot of personal details and thought would go into their big day.
But looking beyond that attention to detail, what struck me most was the fact that the day was centred around their love for each other, their love of travel and their future plans together.
From the moment James (my husband and second shooter) and I hung around with Rey and Jack for their engagement shoot, they let us into their lives and treated us like friends and ultimately guests at their wedding. So much so, that as the evening party kicked in, James spent most of the night on the dance floor!
